There is plenty to explore in Prince Edward County, and recently there has been quite a few new spots and events pop up for your enjoyment! These new and growing spots are a must-visit when you are making your way through the County this season. Here are a few that have caught our eye!
 
New Shows at Comedy Country
 

 
Kick off the summer season with some new shows by Comedy Country. Their comedy series begins on May 19, with every show being hosted by The County’s Artisanal Comedy Troupe: TASTE THAT! This series will feature a variety of performances by different comedians from all over Canada. Crepe Escape
 

 
Looking to satisfy your sweet tooth? The County’s sole creperie is a great option for you! Crepe Escape is located in The Armory, but are a recent addition since their arrival last June, and relocation with indoor seating in March of this year. With different sweet and savoury options available, this family operation will suit any palette. They also offer options that meet the needs of many dietary restrictions including vegan, dairy-free, and gluten-free!
 
Bloomfield Beauty Co.

Enjoy some time for self-care through a trip to Bloomfield Beauty Co., a recent addition to the area. This beautiful day spa only opened their doors in January with the hopes to ease into the industry during the slow season but have been pleasantly surprised by the takeoff of their company. They offer a range of services including manicures, pedicures, waxing, facials, medical aesthetics, massage therapy, and even offer a cafe & wine bar to accompany your day of relaxation. Just last month, this new venture began serving fresh meals with locally grown ingredients. The new restaurant has taken the space of former County favourite, The Hubb, and is located right in Angeline’s Inn. Their special menu rotates biweekly to highlight local produce and the farmers that provide them. Their menu is wonderfully paired with an expansive wine and beer selection for you to enjoy. Midtown Brewing Co.
 

 
This brewery has only existed in Wellington since June 2017 but is surely becoming a County favourite to enjoy a local brew. With both a brewpub and shop, you won’t be short of options to try. This former meatpacking warehouse has experienced a full makeover to make this the perfect spot to indulge in some new and exciting flavours. Make sure to keep an eye on their website for seasonal menu changes and new brews available!
