Chestnut Park is sponsoring a special event this month to benefit youth. The 14th Annual Celebrity Sports Mixer is on F ebruary 21st this year at the Hockey Hall Of Fame. Celebrities such as Toronto Maple Leafs alumni, Wendel Clark, and principal dancer of the National Ballet of Canada, Jurgita Dronina will be some of the celebrities attending the event.

Organized by Kids, Cops & Computers, this event helps the organization provide brand new laptops and Internet access, which is a large part of enabling youth to reach their potential. The support of Educators and Police Officers through monthly Lead and Learn sessions provides students with guidance and mentorship that establishes healthy relationships with authority figures and encourages them to positively impact their communities.

This year 805 new students joined the Program; 625 students in Toronto and 180 students in non-metropolitan communities across Canada in partnership with the RCMP Foundation. To date, over 4000 students have been impacted through involvement in the Kids, Cops & Computers program.

You can still purchase tickets for this amazing event. Learn more here.
